Thomas MONTAGNE cares relentlessly on his 35 hectares of vines to conceive wines in the spirit of independant winegrowers : sustainable work in the vineyard, low yields, few treatments, vinification plot by plot.
This allows him to make the most out of this exceptional terroir. The numerous grape-varieties present on the estate are reflected into very personnal cuvées, like « Soprano », a blend of Syrah and Grenache Noir combined to the original and elegant touch of Pinot noir.
By remaining the sole representative of this varietal on the AOP Luberon area, Château de Clapier so signs its peculiarity towards the other estates of the region.
