Cuvée Concerto Hautbois red 2021

Concerto Hautbois, a Bordeaux expression in a Mediterranean body.

The name of this vintage is a reminder of the long ageing of this wine in oak barrels. This ageing gives the blend powerful and refined tannins. The attack is full and melted at the same time. It’s a very southern bouquet that rises from the glass (cade, rosemary, spices, menthol and other scents of the scrubland) associated with very ripe black fruits. On the palate, the wine is suave and round, backed by well-blended tannins.

• Winemaking process: Picked and sorted with a machine. Long maceration during 4 weeks. Vinification in open oak barrels with punching down the cap by hand. Natural yeasts only. Then ageing in American oak barrels during 16 months.
• Ageing capacity: 6-7 years
• Food & wine pairing: Grilled rib steack, Pata Negra ham, duck breats, cheese.
• Serving temperature: 17°C
